Mine is the only one running in the Zagreb area and people who see it wonder what the h*ll it even is. When I was living in Poland, people there thought that it was a Trabant. On numerous occasions my wife and I had to educate Poles on the finer models of Volkswagen's air-cooled offerings. Finally, the only time we saw T3s in Germany was when the Germans brought them out of hiding for the T3 meeting near Amsterdam and most recently at VW Euro in Venlo, Holland. Otherwise ours was always the only one on the autobahn. In fact, when driving through Germany we always received more stares and waves when in our T3 than in our very GREEN '72 Super Beetle Cabrio.
