Last weekend I along with my cousins and two brothers placed the body on the pan for my Notchback. Everything went pretty smooth, except the back engine compartment. We didn't know that the carburators and air cleaner were in the way. I quickly removed both carbs, air cleaner and the coil to make room for the body. The engine compartment metal (above the cylinders) sits on top of the cooling tin. It seems that it isn't quite right. The two are touching. Is this how it is? My squareback doesn't have all of this extra metal.
