[T3] engine code, serial numbers Re: NOS Industrial T3 engine

Both the Bus and the type III had the same 1500 cc longblock (longblock
only) for a while.
On the type III the 1500 cc engine was standard equipment.
On the Bus it was an option until Sept. 30, 1964; except in the USA
where they always got the high end stuff as standard equipment.
The 1500 cc engine production output started in April 1961.
In late 1962 they where introduced in the Bus (first Bus 1500 cc engine
number being 143 543).
The 1500 cc engine became standard equipment in the Bus at engine number
approx. 750 000.
In 1965 the engine code letters where stamped onto the engine cases and
the longblocks could now be told apart more easily.

Type III engines with the code 124 - (followed by engine number) were
industrial engines.
