I think the very earliest cats used a smaller gear, but that can be replaced with: Intermediate years used 21mm gears with the 3 rivet cam. Latest years (72-3) used 26mm gears with the dished/4 rivet cam. It is also important to know that there were several pump bodies used over the years and the inlet and outlet (if used) holes MUST match the holes in the case. This is NOT automatic and CAN get you in trouble.
