Hello all, I own a 66 fastback with a 1600, dual carb motor. Currently it has the stock single port heads on it. I want to convert to dual port and add a little power at the same time. I have noticed that big valve heads are made in either 39mm x 32mm or 40mm x 35.5. Which would let the engine breathe more and add more power?? I have seen the 40 x 35.5 heads on engines around 2000cc. So would the 40 x 35.5 "hurt" my 1600cc more than it would help?? Would it breathe too well?? Or would the 39mm x 32mm be the perfect choice for reliability and power?? Any help is appreciated thanx chris ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web! Visit http://www.vwtype3.org/list/
