These are a bit of a VW specialty item, but any VW shop will stock them. I stock them. I found that I needed to run a blind M6 x 1 tap into them to clear the threads deep enough. The cheap ones I bought aftermarket were not threaded deep enough and when they bound up on the threads the studs had to turn in the case until the sump plate was tight. You might try buying them at a VW delaership to get better quality parts. Many dealers will have them since they were also used on beetles and buses. Next time the stud came out with the nut and a few changes later I had a stripped stud. I had to make a helicoil drill/tap guide jig to use on the engine while in the car to fix these. Like all the other special tools I have had to make over the years, it was only a pain the first time I had to use it. Subsequent uses are a such a pleasure that I catch myself smiling at how easy it is now to do a good repair easily.
