Yup, I'd love to put an after-market FI system in my baby because I strongly believe FI to be superior to carbs. But I don't know of any places that will allow me to buy a FI system on their credit -- we're talking in excess of $1200 for a decent system -- and with new family members on the way (MIG welder, air compressor) I can't afford to plop down a lump o' cash at this time (hell, will I ever?). Now, I know many of the T3s came carbed, and that's cool, and this isn't an argument to convert these individuals. It's just a plea to those with FI to understand it -- it's actually very simple! -- and love it, caress it, be one with it (hey, would someone turn down the heat, I'm getting warm over here...) and it'll provide you with better performance and less headaches than an engine that's been converted to carbs. Stick to FI, everyone, if at all possible. Speaking from experience.
