[T3] front suspension.

OK guys,

I have recently put empis on my 71 squareback and my front rubs a little
going around the turns...
My front end looks a little low to begin with. My lower rubber stops,
you know the ones on the lower torsion arms.... well there is about an
inch left on the right and may be an inch and a half on the left.... I
am guessing they were never replaced.

My question is this:

What can I do to get an inch (higher) out of my front end. I have
stiffer/ heavy duty shocks on order. I am guessing it has probbaly
sagged over the years, But I don't want to rub up front and my car
doesn't set level right now. It looks like it has been dropped in the
front ( it hasn't, just looks that way). So, how does one go about
gaining an inch or so. I figure between putting on new shocks and new
stops I'll probably be ok, but I tend to be overly optamistic and
somewhat ignorant in these matters.

Also, will the stops from a 71 bug (lower rear) do the job? Does anyone
know if they're the same?

Thanks again.

Charlie
