Even the '69 deletions show much later suffixes, so they could be quite early. Pre-68 have the separate lock hole (not in the handle), and pre '67 (?) don't have the locking button hole, but VW just supplied '67 doors and a blanking plug for the lock button. If yours don't have the lock button hole, they may appeal to the purist pre-67 owner. BTW, the even final figure '2' shows it's a right-hand side part (helpful since in some markets it's the driver who sits on the right). Dave.
