I forget who posted the parts find in San Antonio, but thanks anyhow. I ended up getting the T3 official VW repair manual 2 volume set. What a killer score for a early T3 guy like myself. I have seen these before at swaps in Seattle and in Sacramento, but not this nice nor this cheap($100). By the way I have been chatting in this group for a month now and have not properly introduced myself. I am Jason Weigel from San Diego, Ca. I have met some of you here on the chat line in person, namely Matt, Katie at TOASTED and Steve with the silver T3 ghia. Matter of fact Steve I sold you the T3 Brazilian air cleaner at the Classic. Does it fit ok. I ended up buying the 64 bondo and blue 64 T3 ghia at the classic, and will be joining the registry ASAP. I am currently a NONA member and have three notches in my stable, 62 and two 64's. The 62 is about ready for paint and is coming along well but slow. One of the 64's just got a pan and awaits the big resto(in due time). I drive the other 64 as my daily trans. Its black, lowered a bit with 2 liter Porchese rims. I built it about 4 years ago now in restocustom theme. The 1776 has pushed me up to Seattle twice without a glitch! Future plans include putting disc brakes on the ghia and getting it running, getting the 62 painted and respectable and enjoying my baby on the way! I look forward to sharing my 2 cents, be they true or pure speculation. Hang loose and keep your T3's running! jason ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
