Hi there Very easy to hotwire a type 3! Take a piece of electrical wire, long enough to connect the battery to the ignition coil and connect the wire to the + terminal on the battery and to the + side of the coil. When connected correctly, the generator and oil pressure warning lamps will light up. The ignition is now swithced on. Expect to horn to misbehave when you make this connection - feedback or something, so I would suggest you disconnect it before you start. Next take a screwdriver that has an insulated handle and short the main feed to the starter and the wire to the solonoid together. This will get the engine to turn and hopefully start soon after....
