OK, what about the old Formula Vee favorite Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2)? I had a mechanic once tell me that he would run it in his formula vee so he wouldn't need an oil cooler. He said that the stuff was so slippery that it would lower oil temps to healthy levels without the cooler. His reasoning for not running the cooler was weight and HP increase. I still see the stuff ocassionally, but haven't used it in years as I never noticed any benefit or detriment. Any thoughts or hard facts? Let me know.
