Very true. It's also why Porsche has stopped all air-cooled engine
building and has entered the world of H2O engine cooling. Not only are
emissions more controllable, but noise levels are dropped.

Sadly,
aircoolers have a real problem with emissions... ever wonder why we
think 7:1 is a high compression ratio when a new econobox runs 10:1?
Too many hotspots on the head I guess?
It's a shame, since even a t3 FI engine is SO STRAIGHTFORWARD compared
to anything recent...
