JohnC=> slight 'bucking' or 'hesitation' while accelerating, and a => little off feeling while cruising. Gas mileage is down I'd say leave off component checks until you've had time to look very closely for a bad ground in your FI system. A loose screw or connector, dirty contact, etc., is your likeliest culprit. I had a couple of almost stripped-out sheet metal screws in my FI Bus that left me stranded by the road not too long ago. The early symptoms were *exactly* as you describe. I determined (only in hindsight, of course) that the bucking happened more often during acceleration because the part that needed grounding was being pushed away from its ground -- the ground would open, the engine would stop, we'd stop accelerating, the ground would close again, and the engine would restart.
