I have had great results with the welded-on counterweighted cranks from Gene Berg. The first ones I had were .010/.010 exchange cranks on OE cores. These have actually been fine, but I found out later that if you have a good std/std OE crank, Berg will weld the counterweights onto your crank, straighten the crank if necessary, balance, etc for about the same price and still std/std. The result is beautiful, and the price was reasonable then. It has gone up, however. Still, for the quality, I don't think you can beat it anywhere. I have about 40 car years ( and about 300k miles) experience with these so far with nothing but good news.
