You are very correct!
Working through the "M codes" there was in fact an option for NO armrest.
Why on earth would you NOT want sucha cool feature on your car!!!
well, It is a rare option, but...
Not to fear, I have a backrest with an arm rest just in case this one is
not the original seat...
