Yeah, what Carson said! Polishing the combustion chamber (what I had done) helps keep the heat in the chamber and promotes better hp extraction. My manifolds are ported on both ends to keep the air flowing. Hey, got any more info on your '63, like condition, price and location? The porting stone leaves a fine pattern, that improves flow by creating a swirl pattern in the air. This also increases the air speed. Hopes this helps you.
