Hey :) I've got one in my car...I only use it when necessary, but have never had a problem...it's a bit taxing on the elec. system when you have the lights and the wind shield wipers on, but other then that, it works fine...I';ve got one that is a heater...it's a lot warmer but not much of a fan, and I've got one that doesn't put out as much heat but makes a great defroster...I never use them both at the same time though...I had a thought...I was going to take the heater and cue a hold big enough to fit the outlet end into the fresh air box...that way I could just turn on my fresh air fan and have defrost or heat out of the dash vents...not sure if it will work...but if I get around to it, I'll let you know how it goes :) mikey 72 Slowback northaven@worldnet.att.net wrote: > My husband bought me a wonderful portable heater/fan that plugs into > the cigarrette lighter for my '69 Fastback.....the problem is...I > don't know if the car will handle the amp drain, I can't find any > reference to it in the owner's manual.
