Since this is becoming a FAQ I thought I'd chime in. I have had a t-3 converted and this is the best and only real solution, unless you are very proficient with a torch: Put a manual pan under the body. For the cost and ease, it is the only way to go. It took 15 hours at a shop rate of $35 an hour to convert to manual. It only took 8 hours to do a pan swap. $525 vs $280 with a pan of your choosing. The manual tranny horns are not there on the auto pan, remember, the weight of the auto tranny and motor are held by a rear hanger, not horns. You would have to build your own. You would also have to build a tunnel guild for the clutch cable, and mount a new pedal unit. Also, by buying another pan, you would then have a spare front end, brake parts, pan halves etc... It can be done, but it is quite a job. Brian Fye 65 Notch-converted to auto 67 Square 67 Square-organ donor
