Ryan, Welcome to the group & congratulations on your purchase. The rusty battery pan is way typical. You'll find the clock may not work, way typical. Bug seats don't fit a TypeIII, the seat rails are different. If the motor is original it should be fuel injected & I take it that it is since you said you were getting some spare FI parts. Also you can tell by the block # stamped on the block. I don't have the references handy but I can get them later or someone else on the list may have them. Keep asking questios. This list is a wealth of information. Also get a good repair manual, Bentley and /or Haynes.
