It is not a easy thing to get to but as far as I can tell there is no reason to remove it on a regular basis ( But don't quote me here I am blonde). I want to try this when I rebuild my engine ( any time this year / summer I hope ) But I am going to hook up a different light to connect it to instead of the oil light so I know when it goes off that it is not the oil pressure but temp. ( make sense ????? ). if you saw your engine with out the engine tin was there a tube sticking up on the passenger side ( like a bugs ) then as far as I know it is a drop in thing James
