There were less than a half dozen T3's in the show area; couple custom notches, Toby, and a late model square. Believe it or not there was a T4 squareback all done up in 70's pinstripping with a sign: "go ahead and laugh at my T4, I'm used to it". Toby's car was looking nicer than ever. I got a close look at that oil cooler mount (read: future project for Phillip?). That 5 speed has got to be considered a pure driver's investment, because you can't SEE how bitchin' it is... There was an immaculate low mileage '66 fast in the for sale area $4,000. It looked like the trunk(s) had never seen daylight before! The paint was as good as new, owned by little old lady...etc. It was white with a spectacular red interior. I mean everything was red; seats, panaling, carpet, armrests, dash, steering wheel, steering shaft, even the turn signal lever! WOW If you don't want to bother with doing a restoration call Gary Ledgerwood @ 1-800-547-2594. I came home from the swap meet with almost new front signal lenses, a generic Saphire radio, and a chrome radio hanger ($10! and I'd been searching for over a year for this). Do you all think the neighbors will enjoy my dash speaker thumpin' out the AM jams? Peter Parker '66 Square; Phillip Portland, OR
