tell if this is the worst day of my life. last week i found a 69
automatic sunroof notch in germany. i am stationed here. this car is in
better shape than i am. everything is original. it is tan with a light
tan interior. the old lady that owned it never used the trunk. i opened
it up and it was perfect. the car has about 40,000km (25,000mi) and it
runs fantastic. she needed to sell it because the smog taxes are to
expensive for her to pay. she told me she wanted to sell it for 2,500 dm
(1,400 dollars) i almost fell on the ground. i was expecting three times
that. atleast. well i told her i would be back tomorrow with the money.
i gave her a deposit of $500.00 and left. i got back to her house that
morning and the notchback drove past me on her street. i asked her where
the car was going and she told me the guy bought it a few minutes ago.
she gave me back my deposit and left. i asked her why did she sell it to
him and not me she said because he was german and i am not!!!! that
sucks!! i think i need a hug!
