RE: Starter woes

	Can I join the club?

	My starter quit working, too--a week & a half after swapping
trannies, of course.

	The gear engages with vigor, but it doesn't spin.  It'll spin if I
bridge the contacts on the solenoid with a screwdriver, and it actually
worked normally for a bit after whacking the solenoid, but... well, I got
a bit of exercise in the parking lot this morning, didn't shut off the car
when I dropped off my daughter, and found myself a niiiiice hill to park
on near work!  Gonna pick up a spare starter from a friend this afternoon.
