Is fuel getting into the carburetor. Have you tried putting small amounts
of gas directly into the carbs to see if it fires this way? Ditto what
Theo B said. Also check to see if the fuel LINES might be blocked. These
can go bad after years of petrol flowing through them...happened to me.
