Re: floor pans


Kris,
	A while back I e-mailed this list for the same info, as I too am
needing to replace my pans. I was warned to stay away from the fiberglass
pans due to the fact there isn't enough structural strength. The seat(s)
would very likely pull from their foundation(s)/mounting(s) if you were
involved in an accident, especially a head-on collision. 
I called Bill & Steve's in Califonia & they sell the pans in quarters. If
you can't find a car you can cut the pans out of & use, I'd give Bill &
Steve's a call. Sorry I don't have their  number handy, but they
advertise in the VW magazines.
