I was driving my FB around the block having a good ole time and then the car wouldn't accellrate but would pull I guess at 5mph (but enough to get me home and in the driveway) I thought I'd broken something as I heard a poping sound.(it was the front trunk opening) So I got home and looked at it and thought the gas pedal had come disconnected(happened on another car) well I flipped it up and it was fixed. Now how can I prevent it from happening again? I won't get to play with it until sunday. It's also leaking gear oil. How will I know when I get under there to look at the final drive is it going to be the rear end or what does it look like? I've been looking in the bently book to find a picture but didn't. I also assume that its real easy to change. Thanks Ryan 1970 Fastback, 1971 Torino, 1971 F-100, 1972 Montego, 1977 Hornet Sportabout, 1978 New Yorker.
