Thanks for all the ideas folks, I now has access to my fastback
I eventually went for the following method:-
I prized open the top corner of the door with a wooden kitchen spatula just
enough to get a long piece of wire through the gap. The wire had a loop on the
end which I put around the knob on the top of the door/window frame and after
about 20 minutes fiddleing managed to lift up the knob!!
I have now removed the door handle and will be visiting the local dealership
tomorrow to get two keys cut with the code # on the handle, just in case it
happenss again.
