This is a very nice thing to know. I did find though, that if you keep your old clips, you can go to the local hobby store and buy styrene tubing and rod that fits like the original center piece. Insert, trim, voila! I would also like to share some info on the quality of repro trim parts, though. I had to use gaudy universal clips that require destroying the trim to remove them. I guess it's OK though. I bought repro aluminum trim for the rocker area, and let me tell you: cheap, cheap, cheap. Out of the box, they are dull and flimsy. They won't even take a stock clip because the edges bend when you try to press them on. The thinner trim up top is high quality and works like a charm. All of the aforementioned parts are West Coast Metric, the hit and miss company of the century. Buy the upper trim new, it's worth it. But for the rocker trim, one word: JUNKYARD! You will find better trim at a yard than you ever will mail order for the rockers. Just another little tidbit to save you all my pain.
