Also consider that T1 isn't alway the same. IRS vs. non-IRS is obvious. There are less obvious issues... For example, clutches and TOB are not compatible '70-down and '71-up on a T1. They added a new method of alligning the TOB. ((I wasted a day on that one last weekend... doing a "simple" engine swap)) I have also been told that '73+ the transion was made from 4:12 ring and pinion to 3:88 ring and pinion. I barely understand what this means, but basically higher top-end speed. With a strong engine, the 3:88 is more desired...
