Re: Door Seals


Is it worth wet floors and rusty floorpans?  If you are using the old "cut
the hood seal to make a rear trunk seal" trick as reference, door seals are
not a single extrusion like the latter are.  This makes the conversion more
than a matter of fit, but placement of doorstops, corners and the those
funny little plastic plugs.  Factor in the $95 difference in repairs to
your car from a leaky seal and I think $115 sells itself.
