Re: T-3 Book Project

I had thought about this as well and after reading that 914 book I just got
(which would be an excellent model) I think a Type III book would be nice.
I would recommend looking at several books to get some ideas and stay with
[pictures of] stock vehicles. Maybe one or two shots of a good T3 in Cal
Look trim as that period and style was the launch of the VW into the rod
scene.

Classic Motorbooks is one catalog I know of that has ALL sorts of books on
motorcycles, autos, trucks, farm equipment (tractors) and auto know-how. I
think we could get a book published if it was good.

So, who's got the money, time, money, VW of Germany connections, money, VW
of America connections...?

I have been mulling over in my mind for some time now embarking on a
project to produce a T-3 book. As several threads on the list have
shown, these books are non-existent, or in German and obsolete. Lots of
T-1 and T-2 Books, but none for us.
