Dude, bummer! Try contacting a starter/alternator shop (they do generators
as well) and ask them what they can do for you. You may need to go to a
couple so persevere.

Well volks, I just called Kymco to order my
12v Generator (rewound 6v) and they told me
that they DO NOT MAKE THEM ANYMORE. That they
had some problems with the armatures, and that
I was SOL. I feel really rotten about the whole
thing.
