I was taking the tester info with a grain of salt- the engine has been missing on 2 cylinders ever since I got her running. pull off the plug wires, no change. So I ruled it down to either a mechanical (valve, head, piston, motor stuff) problem or a fuel problem. So.... Using the tester I make the injectors fire (they go put-put-put-put-put-) so I can see if they are doing anything. Nothing. My multimeter won't really catch the voltages- Its too quick and those digital ones suck at quick changes.... So I break out the ocilliscope, hook it up to the wires that go to the injector. I see that its getting a 12 volt pulse every 1/2 second or so....just like the other 2 only these 2 aren't firing.... So I assume, hey, its getting voltage, so it must be the injectors... Am I wrong somewhere? The FI is a new beast to me.... Do the injectors get their ground from somewhere else??? I assume they were isolated electrically with only the connector to server their needs....
