The Euro Metric of this tire comes out to be a 175-15 and the dimensions do not seem that much larger than that of a 165R15. - John Yep, they will fit the wheels..Have had no trouble with up to 205's. If you use 195's on the front, your speedo won't read right and your clearance? Don't know. 165's on front and 205's on the rear is a good combo. Mileage? 35MPG on my '71 square and now 40mpg now that I have a taller forth gear set in her. Bye
