Re: [T3] 67 fastback price

I totally agree with Greg.
If the 67 fastback is anything like our 71 fasty, you'll probably be
replacing most of the brake parts as well. My rotors and drums are so rusty
and worn that I wouldn't feel too safe using them, and I wouldn't waste my
time and money trying to machine them.
Your 67 may have problems with the master cylinder or calipers as well, if
it has sat for a while.
Basically, we found that as we did stuff on our car, we found even more
stuff that needed to be fixed or replaced.
So, yeah, use Greg's advice and figure out the total cost - maybe get some
catalogues and total the parts list. It's amazing how it all adds up.
We bought our 71 for $500 (Canadian - roughly $325US), and we drove it home.
The wheel wells and fenders were quite rusty and in need of repair, but the
car ran really well and the interior upholstery is in pretty good shape.
Check out http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranch/6611/71fasty if you want
to see it.

Cheers,
-Nico
