Timmins/MIPP/Imation cc: Subject: Window rubber. Hi Dave, I am responding to your questions about stock look window rubber for your squareback. I just got off the phone with West Coast Metric(800-247-3202) and asked about options on replacing "american look" (common name for rubber window seals that accept trim moulding),and although the exact side and rear hatch seals are not available, some people are substituting type one seals for the hatch (p.n. 113-521J), and thefixed rear quarter windows (p.n. 113-321D). The middle side windows are another story. They still have the pop-out style available, But if you have fixed windows, then you have to get creative. You can use the hatch window seal,(113-521J), and cut it to fit the side window. I assume this would work for the fastback side windows as well. They do not have the type three window trim mouldings, but I think if needed, and if you were desperate, you could try the late plastic (yuck) mouldings for type ones, or better yet, find a set from a fellow listee. I realize this is a long winded note, but should be helpful. Since my low-buck state agency mail server cannot support my joining the list, please forward this information to the rest of the list.
