It depends on the engine state; a worn engine will be louder than a
low-mileage one.  However, there is more resonance and noise in a
Squareback; if you fill the back with camping gear, you will notice
the difference.  Some heavy carpeting on the load area will help a
lot.

If you fill any other same-class car with camping gear, you will
notice the difference in space available.  Just don't leave the tent
behind!
