hi again,

A couple of digests ago, I posted a querey regarding the existence of some
flat folding back seats.

The only responses I got were from people saying that of course they
exist, all back seats are supposed to fold flat!

no, no, no people, I' talking about the accessory "Sleep-In" Extender
described in an original accessories brochure (you can see it on "The type
III Experience" webpage http://thesamba.com/vw/type3/)

and I quote:

"Sleep-in" space Extender
Just the thing for camping out. This unique device swings the
rear seat forward and down, giving you a a rear deck that's 6'10" long,
with comfortable sleeping room for 2 adults. Turns your Squareback into a
camp on wheels.

the picture in the brochure makes it look like it's just a couple of
brackets that wouldn't be too awfully tough to manufacture.

Anybody have access to a set to use as a model?

thanks ,

eduardo
