30 MPG actually sounds a little high to me. Not that it can't be done, but what I'm wondering here is whether this dual-carbed engine may be running lean.. Keith park once gave me a figure that if I was getting over something like 29 mpg I should start thinking whether I'm running too lean, which could in the long run blow a hole in cylinder 3. Ideally, if my memory serves, 27-29 should be the window to shoot for... now I have Webers, not solexs, but I kow keith's running his notch on dual solex's for the time being. A: Keith, you out there and want to comment? B: Is this figure correct? C: Anyone else want to comment on this? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
