I like to think of my self as a Grey Man.  I've taken Dune-Buggied T1's and
welded new ends on them, and brought them back to life (my one big project
turned out pretty nice), and I've taken perfectly stock machines and
massaged them till they could get rubber in second gear (picture the big
gold mitre and the gothic mace, as this big viking type guy goes around
meting out justice, resurrecting the masses of air cooled)...

	VW.  Later on the reference was revived by Brian Fye.  It's a
playful way of
	describing someone who has "fallen" from the ways of keeping a
vehicle stock
	and has customized their vehicle in some (or many) way(s).  It's
easier to
	succumb to The Dark Side than it is to stay stock as any parts
person has
	discovered ;)

	Anyway, the comments are descriptive or complementary.  Either way,
you have
	no reason to be insulted!  Besides, Brian has his Dark Side page
that
	includes HIS very, very custom NOTCH, my baby, Tom's car, John's car
and
	YOUR CAR.

	It always makes me smile when someone uses the Dark Side reference
and I
	like being a part of it.  Different volks, different strokes (or
cc's :)  In
	any event there's no need to be offended.  I know some people don't
like my
	ride but I don't care what they think, I only care about what I
think.
