anybody make it to pomona today? It must have been down in the low 40's when the wind started blowing, but we braved the elements and went anyways. There wasnt much in the swap area as far as T3's go. More than usual, but still not much. There was an early notch body with the front clip already cut off and no roof there. Had a good section of rear vents and the guy was desparate to sell it. there was an early front clip there too. A few early fenders and a hood I think. There was also an early Square in the swap area. Dont know if it was for sale or not, the guy standing next to it was a bit too annoying for my tastes, but it was a very nice looking car. Pinkish red on the bottom with just the roof painted white. Matching painted wood slat roofrack and overall a very nice looking car. Did have the wrong reflectors on the rear the fender beading was kind of messed up and had a big racing style tach mounted on the dash. by far the highlight of the day was the "cars for sale" area. There must have been 15 T3's and at least 8 of them were notches. There was a very nice 62 Notch for sale . Show quality I'd say. Had a 1914 motor and a competiton quality stereo in it. There was also an unbelievably beautiful white early (65/66?) square (4 lug drums)there that had been bought earlier in the morning. This thing was unbelievable. It even had prefect chrome T3 over rider bumpers. I'd never seen these before so I snapped a few pics. There was a totally original looking green and tan notch and a nice white one with a ragtop cut into it. A few other nice squares, 2 fasty's that I saw too. All in all a good T3 day. I couldnt believe the number of T3's in the lot today. mFQõold as hell though. Had to be in the 40's with the windchill. Anyone else make it to T3 heaven today? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web! Visit http://www.vwtype3.org/list/
