Hi Naomi, My brother, who is a diesel mechanic in Nebraska, believes that the claims are true. In fact, on one of my visits to his shop in the early 1980's he put some "Slick-50" in my 1962 Bug. I'm not a rocket scientist, but the motor seemed to start and run easier. This was before "Slick-50" was mass merchandised. karl http://home.earthlink.net/~ksam2 Naomi teWinkel wrote: > I keep noticing oil additives like Slick-50 that claim to reduce friction > and wear in the engine. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
