I'm bubbling with anticipation....Just got off the phone with Dick Landy Industries about their supercharger kit!!!! They are now building it with a 78ci B&M blower instead of the 50ci unit...What this means is that with only 5lbs of boost, i.e, minimal wear, I can turn 240bhp and have torque band that nolonger requires 5,000rpm pulls to get movin! At the 7.5lbs of boost the original unit ran at, a can turn out 300hp and if we want to hit the 1/4 mile, a smaller pulley and hp skyrockets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reliability wise....they ran a blower on a sand rail for 5 years and didn't have any problems with the motor or blower and the blower lifespan is to be around 100K. THis entire set up is $2500 but, I'll take low rpm torque and horsepower over a turbo any day!!!! Sorry about the rambpings but, wwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhoooooooohoooooo!!! Can't wait for spring!
