RE: [T3] Sound Off TYPE III Fans

But to be more precise in answering Toby's question...

I *didn't* drive the '51 Hudson; the wiring harness was pretty much hosed;
the '65 LeSabre 400 Coupe (unfortunately, as it was a great car, much nuts);
there was a '63 Imperial that was given to me that I wound up junking; the
'64 Mercury had a bad diode in the alternator, and the headlights would
pulse annoyingly, and the power steering assist arm was bent, so left hand
turns were a bummer...

And that's about it. The rest were insured and driven at least briefly. NJ
is really strict about that sort of thing, and long-haired college kids in
big old cars *really* brings out the 'Jack Boots' in the NJ State Police, so
they more or less *had* to be legal.

	Oh no, I was doing quickie restores on most of the American stuff.
Clean em
	up, do mechanical repair, in some instances get a buddy to fix a ลก,
that
	sort of thing.

	I drove the wheels off the 73 Beetle, the plain 68 Beetle, and back
in NJ I
	had a 65 and a 59 Pontiac that I drove for years, and a 77 F-100 6'
Stepside
	pickup (way cool) that I sold so I could move to AZ in my Super
Beetle (that
	died in TX).

		What I don't understand is how some people go through many
cars (I'm
	just
		using James thread as an example). Do you volks actually
buy,
	insure,
		drive, then sell these cars? How/why do you go through
them?  Or do
	you
		count donor cars as well?

		This has always stumped me.
