If nobody else can help, I have the shop manuals, so I can photo copy everything you need, but that's snail mail. The turn signal indicators both flash at the same time. For the back-up lights, get a test light, and make sure the hot lead in the engine compartment is connected (first check). I have a manual trans, so I can't help with the light, I would guess that it wouldn't, but it is a T3, not a bug, who knows? -----Original Message----- From: Jorgensen [SMTP:jorge@sisna.com] Sent: Tuesday, December 01, 1998 8:48 PM To: type3-d@vwtype3.org Subject: [T3] i need some help please i just got my 1970 squareback and the wiring has been messed with. i need to make the turn signals work and back up lights work. if someone has a copy of a wiring diagram they can send me via email, i would greatly appreaciate it. also....where do the backup light wires come from on an automatic? isnt my gear selector supposed to light up when the lights are on? and i have a knob on my dash that goes to the dash speaker? its where the optional gas heater switch goes. does the display for the turn signals show each individually or flash the same time like a bug signal indicater? thanks for your help. hans 73' thing 70'square ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
