Drop an electronic ignition module in it (like Compufire) or ceramic coat the exhaust. You've then added to the vehicle in a positive way and have increased the value of it, no matter how minor :) The price is steep, but the car is not your everyday Type III, either. Obviously don't expect it to sell quickly and consider creative payment options if you really want to sell it. One thing I do know, and is a very common mistake a seller will make, is trying to sell the car to recover costs. Rarely can one do that. Example: Over the years I've put over $10,000 into my car ($8,000 in the drivetrain alone!) but she's not worth more than $6000 -- and that's an optimistic estimate. It sounds like you have it for sale but you don't necessarily want to get rid of it, just if someone wants it you are willing to separate. I'm the same way with my [wrecked] 914. I would rather keep it because I've put so much work into it (and am emotionally attached...) but it is for sale if someone wants it -- I'm in no rush to sell it. However, if I do get it fixed the 'For Sale' comes off since it will be functional again and those 911 front suspension components are pricey...!
