That article was aimed primarily at us, the T3 enthusiasts. A lot of T3 folk are unconnected to clubs or any experienced information, and could easily be taken in by the VWT rap. It's as blatant an attempt at self-serving disinformation as I've ever seen in the magazines, and it pisses me off on behalf of those who don't know any better. (For the record, I've had pretty good luck with both systems, and think they both have advantages, and I even have a set of Weber ICTs for sale.) How's about we try our hand at a little group effort? This list is easily the largest group of T3 enthusiasts in the world. I would like to write a letter to Trends expressing our criticism of the article in detail, and including a similar system photo showing correct components in condition as good as those in the carb photo. I think it would be most effective if this package were signed by as many members of this list as want to participate. I wouldn't expect that it would ever be printed, or even acknowledged, but it would put the editors on notice that we're paying attention and looking out for others. Anybody else into this?
