Dearest list, I know many of you drive your cars alot, but I almost never do. Usually it is some endless project, but mostly I live in the city and ride my bike. Anyways, my long lost big brother was in town, and we took Phillip and toured the Columbia river gorge, 100+miles! You know how important it is to show off to your siblings, well this was the ticket. He lives in Germany and is one of the Autobans "left lane" crowd. He now has seen the vintage VW light! Mind you we made good time, and except for a "Class II" tranny leak (military speak), Phillip rocked. But when you pull in to get ice cream in an old car, and all the cool kids are checking you out, you know life is good. Had to share the glory.
