[T3]No more than 3000

Hi all
After replacing the entire fuel and ignion systems the car steal have a
high rev
cut of, it's like a backfire, and happend wan the engine is more than a
3000 RPM(claimb a hill it's like hell).
I put in my beloved a 1971 type 2 1600cc muffler , is this could efect the
engine.

If you have any ideas PLEASE tell me.
